Introduction to EIC Business Acceleration Services (BAS)
EIC Business Acceleration Services (BAS) are support services designed for EIC Awardees and other eligible organizations. These services aim to foster the innovation development of EIC project results and facilitate the commercialization and scaling of EIC-supported innovations. The BAS includes access to:
- Coaches and training
- Services from EIC Ecosystem Partners
- Global partners, including leading corporates, investors, procurers, distributors, and clients

The Role of EIC Business Coaches
EIC business coaches are independent, external experts with backgrounds in entrepreneurship and investment. They provide valuable business development insights and guidance to EIC Awardees and applicants, and they are an integral part of the Business Acceleration Services.
EIC Community Platform
The EIC Community platform is accessible to all EIC Awardees, including those who have received EIC Seals of Excellence, EIC Pre-accelerator Seals of Excellence, and EIC Sovereignty (STEP) Seals. This platform facilitates connections to Business Acceleration Services and fosters discussions, exchanges, and matchmaking opportunities.
As a virtual meeting place, the EIC Community platform enables EIC Awardees to connect with a wide range of stakeholders, including:
- Peer inventors, researchers, innovators, and entrepreneurs
- Investors, business angels, mentors, and coaches
- Innovation procurers and agencies
- Business associations and clusters
- Accelerators and incubators
- Technology transfer offices and others
EIC Ecosystem Partners
EIC Ecosystem Partners are organizations selected to provide Business Acceleration Services and other support to EIC Awardees. Potential partners include:
- Investors and business angels
- Mentors and coaches
- Innovation agencies and business associations
- Clusters, accelerators, and incubators
- Technology transfer offices and venture builders
Additionally, EIC Ecosystem Partners may consist of Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs) of the EIT, members of the Enterprise Europe Network, and the European IP Helpdesk.
Role of EIC Expert Evaluators
EIC Expert Evaluators are external, independent experts in their respective fields who evaluate funding proposals based on the criteria outlined in the relevant Work Programme. These evaluators are selected from the EU Funding & Tenders portal Expert Database.
