Comprehensive Overview of the EIC STEP Scale Up Call and Its Regulatory Framework Under Horizon Europe and the Strategic Technologies for Europe Platform
EIC STEP Scale Up Call Overview The EIC STEP Scale Up call is a specialized initiative under the EIC Accelerator, as stipulated in Article 48 of the Horizon Europe Regulation – 2021/695. This call has been amended by Article 17(2) of the STEP Regulation. The provisions regarding indirect management, as well as those concerning parent and holding companies, that are established under the Accelerator call are also applicable to the STEP Scale Up call. Guidance Note The Guidance Note relates to specific provisions of Regulation (EU) 2024/795, which establishes the Strategic Technologies for Europe Platform (STEP).
